Math State Test Prep- Extra Credit Opportunities

Families,

Ms. Forde and I are offering extra credit packets from now until the math state test in May. Research shows that students who practice problems outside of the classroom gain confidence and perform better on standardized assessments, especially when they look up the answers to confirm their thinking.

We will be putting weekly extra credit packets in your child's mailbox. It is their responsibility to complete the packet by showing work for every problem. They will then need to go to the Math Materials section of this blog and check their work with the answer key. Lastly, they will need to identify their mistakes and determine next steps.

We are excited for students to improve their grades and grow in their mathematical understanding. Please reach out if you have any questions.
